Merilee Paran brings an analytical mindset and a servant’s heart to every transaction, a
foundation built during her early career in the sciences. Originally from Canada, she
relocated to Maryland in 1986 after earning a degree in Biology and Chemistry from
Messiah University. Her subsequent years as a respiratory therapist honed her ability to
remain calm and precise under pressure, while her experience co-founding a local family
business provided her with an intimate knowledge of home systems and a deep rolodex of
trusted regional vendors.
Now a seasoned professional with Compass, Merilee has navigated the Maryland real
estate landscape since 2004. Her expertise spans Montgomery, Frederick, Washington,
Howard, and Anne Arundel counties, allowing her to serve a diverse clientele that ranges
from first-time buyers to those expertly downsizing into their next chapter. Investors also
